Annapurna Base Camp trek
Let's go!

Once in the city of Pokhara we need to organize ourselves before the trek. What is important is to buy Annapurna Conservation Area Entry Permit(prices may differ depending on the agency). Not sure if it's still a requirement but I had to attach passport-sized photo to my form. Be sure to have a good travel insurance before any trekking in the mountains. Do not worry about the paper work, all agencies will help you everything that is needed :)
We are packed, all required documents are ready, time to start the adventure. From Pohkara we take the bus to our starting point. My starting point was a small village called Naya Pul. First day of trekking is really easy, mostly dirt road walk with little altitude to be gained.
Second day was the most difficult one, as there was a long way to go(you can split that in two) and quite a bit of altitude to gain. That day we are going to move up to around 28000m. It is a full day trek, depending on your speed it can take from 6 to 8 hours, and you go up all the time, not many flat parts that day ;) Some people on the way cry, some want to give up, but DON'T. Once you arrive in Ghorepani village and see what's around you, you will immediately forget how hard the last hours have been, I can promise you that :)
To be continued...
ps. All photos are taken by me, should you want more info regarding gear used, settings etc. just let me know ;)
