Playground Shadows.
I confess, it has been a while since I made it to the playground with my bub.
Quite some time ago I shot these playground shadows with him at what was at the time, our local park.
We have moved since, to have the support of my mother.
Granny does a lot for us.
These photos make me more than a little sad actually.
I realise I am getting sicker and have less energy and more pain. I seldom leave home anymore. I miss out on simple family outings like this, my husband does almost everything and my mother is the one to take him to the park now instead of me.
It does remind me that I am lucky to have what I do have too.
My family.
They are beautiful and make so many concessions for me.
They are very tolerant of my limits.
My preschooler truly enjoys mumdays, as he calls them.
They are stay at home in your pyjamas days, gaming and watching TV. Or painting or puzzling.
Quite often Netflix and snacks in bed.
Or paint rocks for him to take to the park and leave for other kids to find.
My kids are amazing.
My little guy is also a big fan of shadow puppetry.
We make our own playground at home these days.

These are all great photos and I love your contest entry! Nicely done and I hope it is a photo that holds many good memories. Love your painted rocks! I can imagine how much fun it would be to find one of these little works of art in the park.
It is fun to find the rocks. the white heart in the middle was one we found actually. Very exciting, it prompted our first park drop. There is a slothicorn in the mix too, and a pink penguin with a steemit balloon.
There is a painted rock hide / hunting movement on that other platform. You know the one, it is not a popular mention here lol .... the demon f word ...fb.
It is a global sharing of good vibes. Social media can be quite the lifeline for isolated people, but seldom does it get people away from the screen and to the park. That is the cool thing about the rocks, and your contest actually. Even though I don't often enter steemit challenges these days, they did get me out on a mission. Like the Wednesday walk and tree Tuesday, and the colour challenge. Not to mention papas flora and fauna, although my snails and weeds were questionable entries, haha. I think it is time to dig up some motivation. Thanks for stopping by, I have been hibernating for winter, I appreciate the visit.
I do one called #featheredfriday. It does not have to be on a Friday, as long as you tag me so that I don't miss seeing it. Anything bird related works. Bird photos, but bird art works, too. Pink penguins would fit in nicely! No prizes, but an upvote and possibly a resteem from me!
My MS keeps me pretty close to home, so I do understand how Steem challenges can be motivating!
Thank you for sharing your experience, I appreciate it. I have a complicated health situation, it is not an easy time at the moment finding balance and a degree of comfort, dignity and purpose. "Not easy.... " a laughably diplomatic understatement.

I have been bird watching. I have always been vigilant of birds around me, every bird call, possible dive bomb. We have moved to a more rural area, so many new birds to become aware of.
