CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR AWAY FROM MY HOUSE!

Hello community, today I come to tell you how it was to spend December 24 and 31 away from my house.

WHY DO YOU PASS AWAY?

Well, on December 19 my family and I had thought that it would be a good idea to spend Christmas in the city of Caracas / Venezuela with some friends and family who lived there, being us from Táchira state.

Then it was not said more we bought some tickets to fly to the international airport of maiquetía which we got very lucky because in those times get tickets is totally impossible and more than one day to another as we did. Well we traveled on December 20 and arrived in about an hour to the capital.

Once at the airport there were some problems because a tunnel that connected the city center to the airport had collapsed, which led to terrible traffic, so we arrived in the capital at 11:00 pm of the night, having arrived at 5:00 p.m. to the airport, a very exhausting day.

but the rest of the days would be very good, we spent Christmas with family and friends in a very good way, we prepared the hallacas (typical Venezuelan Christmas dish), one or another typical dessert and we enjoyed it!

CHRISTMAS

After spending a very good Christmas, we had to return or we had planned, so we went to the airport in search of plane tickets.

We did not find anything, not even with travel agencies, due to the little influx of flights in those December times, so we were already getting a bit anguished and decided to go to the terminal to see if we could get a ticket to Tachira, which It was impossible because it was selling up to 6 times more the price and with cash, taking into account that in Venezuela there is a cash crisis that in another post I will gladly tell you if you want it.

We had already given up so we had to wait until January to be able to return home.

OLD NIGHT / NEW YEAR

Once we accepted that we could not spend the night and receive the year in our house, we prepared to spend it in the best possible way in Caracas, so we got down to work, we bought all the preparations for the last dinner year, drinks, we were with friends, family and everything we could and when the day came, we were already prepared to receive the year with the best spirits and desires!

And so it was like Christmas and I received the New Year away from home, that although when expectations were low for all, we ended up solving everything and we were happy to pass these beautiful dates!
