Patara ancient amphitheater from Lycian Civilization

Patara Amphitheater is one of the largest amphitheatres in Anatolia with a capacity of 6000 people. It has a different entrance than the typical Roman theater.

This amphitheater, which has no vaulted entrance, represents the transition between the Hellenistic form and Roman architecture.
