It's thunder and lightning weather!
We've got a thunder and lightening storm travelling across New Zealand right now - with more than 100 lightening strikes recorded in Auckland online this evening.
For a while, we had all the curtains wide open - and the lights off - watching all the lightning strikes and counting the seconds until the thunder.
The cat ain't so impressed.

No thunderstorms in Wellington yet. But heaps of heavy rain. Again...
it's pretty insane when it arrives!
