Well today I'm going to present one of the most representative holidays in Peru, this holiday is celebrated on October, in these days the people go out on the streets of Downtown Lima ( this city is characterized by its old buildings that date back from the colonial era). The procession walk and carry a canvas of the image Jesus Chris. This canvas iis called "Señor de los Milagros". Is said to grant miracles to his faithful. Thousands of people go to prosecion.

I don't know if it's just me but I notice something peculiar in that man's face.

If something characterizes my country are its sellers; You can find them in the streets walking selling things like water, cookies, ice cream and other things. Well it is not at all strange that they take advantage of the festivities to sell alucivas things to the holiday.

These are called "Detentes del Señor de los Milagros" ; I don't know how to translate the name of those things

Here they sell sweets, but the main sweet on October is the "Turron", this sweet is made of honey of "chancaca" and dragees..

All the "Señor de Los Milagros" believers come to him with faith and devotion.
