July flowers of New York- Milkweed

I am interested in photographing the flowers I see when out and about. I kept honeybees for years and so I am familiar with the flowers that they visit to get honey. I saw the bees working the milkweed so I snapped this shot. The bee was getting ready to land on the flower to sip nectar and I watched her fly from flower to flower gathering food to take home to her hive.
