Outlook - more wet weather.. urgh!
Another day another region in New Zealand being flooded out. We're having atrocious weather here at the moment. It started with Snowstorms down South, huge winds and lightning storms and Its been raining heavy downpours for the last week with no respite. We have state of emergencies in number of areas. Dunedin, Timaru, Waitaki and Canterbury and other cities are on the verge. Auckland , Wellington and the rest of the North Island is getting its fair share as well.
Drove past the Waikato river this morning and its up with water overflowing at the banks, flooding along the roadside. Lots of surface flooding on the roads - making it extremely hard to go the speed limit - though it doesn't seem to stop some daredevils from going even faster.
Would be nice to hear what excellent weather you're having.
