Sokha La (5150m ASL) is one of the many high altitude passes around Snow Lake. And it is also one of the most difficult and dangerous ones having vertical ice walls with deep and wide crevasses, large cornices and prone to avalanches.

The pass remains uncrossed in recent trekking history though few teams have reached the top from Arandu side.

This shot was taken from Biafo Glacier near Snow Lake and on the other side of the pass, the route descends to Arandu from where one can take jeep to Skardu.
