NYC Photo Daily Express #7 Dumbo View
I shot this one very cold night in Dumbo, long exposure shot of 30sec, with a nice view on the financial district of Manhattan
Specs :
- Nikon D800
- Nikon 14-20mm f2.8 @f5.6 (estimation, the ring is manual on the nikon adapter for E-mount and does not appears on the EXIF)
- 30s - ISO 500

A photo journey I would like to launch depicting the things that stand out to me as a French visitor to New York City where I will be spending the next 3 months. I've visited this city multiple times, and it never ceases to surprise me...

From the outside it looks so beautiful. But once you go in it's a liberal waste land.
In financial district you mean, or in nyc in general ?
I wouldn't call the Financial District liberal. Some of the most conservative elements in the whole city!

Great shot! and thanks for including the location data of where you shot it. The detail is immense! Its a shame steemit isn't as well equipped to show pictures as something like 500px or flickr. voted and followed! :)

yeah something like what imgur does where you can click on the photo and it blows up to full resolution :)

Thanks, I wish I actually had made a longer pose to accentuate the trailing effect on the clouds, but 30 sec was the max on my D800.
On the second shot yea.. but the first one looks very cool I think :)
The second and 3rd shots are actually portions of the 1st image, zommed in at 100% :)
