Unexpected sunset

in #photography5 years ago

The whole day was cloudy, and only at the end of daylight a small gap appeared on the horizon. I became alert and began to observe - it was obvious that something would be interesting!
And there is! The thick curtain opened and the sun came out. The main thing now is to catch it all capture.

The trail through the frozen Sukhona River in some places was completely covered with snow.

The blizzard left behind beautiful patterns on the snow, and the low rays of the sun emphasized their texture.

The temples of the Cathedral courtyard, lit by the setting sun, look contrast against the dark sky.

Winter card in a spring day.

Almost all the churches on the embankment of Great Ustyug are well located in terms of sun illumination.

I have repeatedly mentioned that the best light for shooting something in nature is when the sun breaks through the dense clouds at sunset. Now is that moment!

Every minute the light becomes softer and tones gets colder.

Yellow churches are getting redder.

The sun, already hidden behind the horizon, illuminates only the tops of the domes.

After the sun has disappeared over the horizon, you should not leave immediately, as the sky can be painted in bright colors.
