Guilford Lake State Park
Hello everyone. We're back with pictures from Guilford Lake State Park in Ohio. These were taken from the house we stayed in during our visit and show the lake at different times of the day.
The first evening, a rainstorm rolled through, putting a damper on the September heat and made for a cool, clear morning.
I got an early morning start and captured this beautiful first light just before 7 AM. There was just a hint of fog over the water, and a mostly clear sky made for an almost dusk-like appearance.
Heading out for a morning boat ride, I took advantage of the clear sky to provide a nice contrast for the tree. The crane that landed on the dock was as still as the water, looking more like a decoration than a live bird.
