I have been learning now for 10 years and i quite like the experience not only the experience but the people and the culture. My wife and a i learned in an attempt to offer comfort and encouragement to the chinese that are in our home town of Montego bay. Of course they ( chinese people) along with ather locals are often amazed at us been able to speak. I got an opprtunity to put my proficiency to the test when a well established company called me and offer me a job to be a Mandarin guide for them which i hesitantly accepted since i thought my mandarin ws not that good. But it turned out pretty well the first group i gave the tour was from Beijing China, They were able to get a taste of our Paradise in their native language. Among other placee we took them to Dunns River falls which is a trade mark of Jamaica, 600 feet of cascading water falls. All in all learning another language is fun and exciting. 学中文是很难但是如果努力学你会说。加油
