A Sacred Ruin - Photography
this is a church from a Little town nearby to my city named “San Fernando”
This church name is “Iglesia de san Fernando del Rey cuturuntar”, it was founded between 1773 and 1783 by capuchin missionaries, in the actuality it’s just a ruin, because it got burned in the independence war at 1817.
Its construction is typical of the Capuchin mendicant convent scheme, that is, it has the church-cloister nucleus and areas for self-supply activities, and such as orchard and corrals it also had a thatched roof. Its style is colonial popular, and was constituted by a central ship, a presbytery framed in an arch and the sacristy of the same width of the ship. And it’s declared cultural heritage of my state
