Is this it for me and Steem?
Mad times and as time goes on, sad times. Bitcoin is volatile, the markets are volatile and the Steem chain has been, of course, volatile. Politics don't seem to makes sense and we are becoming polarised, angry and warriors (and admittedly worriers) by keyboard in nature. Technology is advancing at incredible speed but people around the world seem to be getting poorer, with the wealth divide getting larger. We are in debt, our friends are in debt, our family are in debt. Debt appears to the answer to all problems but at some time the 'bubble' has to burst. Now we have the threat of C-19, a virus that has jumped from animal to human that is now rampaging the globe at a frightening speed. Heat maps of the world are beginning to go from white to a deep crimson. Many of is just watched it all unfold in China and do nothing to prepare, we now rue that inaction. We are panic buying, crying and some just completely ignoring the new rules - social distancing and self isolation. At the same time, but on the online world, the blockchain world, part of my identity has been ripped up by the few and now it seems i'm about to jump ship, to keep that identity that I hold dear. To keep some kind of decentralisation alive, how we want to be. We don't want to be governed online too.
Looks like I'm moving to join the Hive then!
But now that I am moving (partly, or fully?), so many questions remain...
- What happens to my tokens in Steem Engine? Will they be transferred?
- Should I powerdown all my Steem and sell it?
- Will I miss the Steem blockain? Will I get FOMO?
- What about the Dapps that are built on Steem. Can they be easily migrated?
- Will there be an alternative to eSteem?
- Should I cross post?...
- What will become of the tribes?
- Will Hive be successful? Whats going to happen to the value
- Did Justin Sun have good intentions all along? Will his acquisition really be the nex step for the token to...Moon?
- Did the takeover prove that DPoS is junk?
- What is this about a cease-and-desist case against hive already? (not a great start!)
- Can someone explain this to me?
When going to something new, you are always full of questions and anxiety. But if we didn't do and try new things, we would get bored and lose our creativity.
I have read it was a test... but (hehe) if you counting in only me, the result is a bit obscure, I should say.. not characteristic... a bit of a random

and no, I cant say steem is getting me money (silly cents! my internet and electricity bills, food etc costs much more... I am still doing a small extra book layout job, so I am not totally dry on the money... yet... but low, as always )
so, hopes to the future!
