Birthday Hike in Corwina Park

I turned 31 today, and to celebrate, my partner and I hiked to the top of Panorama Point, which is located in Corwina Park. Corwina Park is located in Morrison Colorado, very close to Evergreen. This park is the place where a friend and I discovered and continued to develop a meditation spot.

You can see the small town of Kittredge in the background, where we headed to the Country Road Cafe for brunch afterwards. They have some pretty epic meals, perfect for a post-hike feast. We both had their benedicts, which were terrific. If you need portion control in your life, stay away from this place!

We will likely be hiking Mt. Evans on Monday, our first attempt at a 14,000 foot peak. I want to get a Steemit flag to stake at the top, at least for a photo opportunity ;)
