Play Online Game 20 Hours

A young man in China suddenly experienced paralysis from the waist down after playing online games in internet café for more than 20 hours nonstop.

Reported by QQ.com news website, the unidentified teenager was playing an online game at an internet cafe in Jiaxing, Zhejiang province.

One of his teenage friends, who was on the scene, said his friend was suddenly unable to move his lower body.

"Looks like he's really lost his sense of taste and can not move at all, we've got to call an ambulance," he told the Daily Mail.

After the paramedics arrived, the teenager was immediately lifted from his chair and placed on a stretcher and then taken by ambulance to the hospital.

The addiction of online games that plagued young people in China has become a prominent social issue in society with the increasing number of students who ignore the study and social life of even families to play online games.

Addiction to online games in China has also been regarded as a clinical disorder.
