in #photography7 years ago

Hi Guys today I would like to write about world's Seventh wonder The Taj Mahal. Last week I has the opportunity to visit this marvelous art man has ever built. It is one of highest visited tourist spots of India and has sooo much history behind. I will cover all its facts in this post so lets get started.

This beauty of architecture is buiklt by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan from 1632 - 53. The construction project employed some 20,000 artisans under the  guidance of a board of architects led by the court architect to the  emperor,  Ustad Ahmad Lahori. The Taj Mahal complex is believed to have been completed in its entirety  in 1653 at a cost estimated at the time to be around 32 million rupees, which in 2015 would be approximately 52.8 billion rupees ($827 million).The garden in taj mahal is alyed out in a very artistic way and has one of the most premium garden layouts.Out of the total area of 580 meter by 300 meter of the Taj complex,  these gardens alone cover an area of 300 meter by 300 meter distance and  are based on geometric arrangements of nature.

Taj mahal is located near to river Yamuna. This structure has faced pollution problems from that river causing this white marble masterpiece turn yellow. Inorder to save the structure the government put a clause protect the Taj mahal by banning the pollutant products near the city. The prominent feature about taj mahal's marble is it looks sooooo gorgeous on a full moon night. It shines very brightly under the full moon. Not many people are allowed during that night. Just a number of 200 people are allowed. Taj mahal marbles have flower designs that are done by artistis from turkey and Afghanistan. These marble makers were brought by mughal emperor and were paid more than they can imagine.

Here is a miniature version of taj mahal made by same exact marble the big Taj mahal has been made of. It is displayed in one of the Famous handlooms of the city of agra. I had the liberty to visit this ancient and amazing handloom. It is filled with artist using ancient techniques to make art sculptures to sarees clothings of ancient time.

here's my mom dressed in this amazing cotton saree for our trip to Taj mahal. She was very excited to see it for the tenth time.

Here is me having fun in the gardens of taj mahal and taking selfies. I was so amazed by the Taj mahal they say it is the symbol of true love. I hope everyone of those true love couples get to see it. Visitng Taj mahal during a full moon is one of my dreams. Hope it gets full filed someday. And I hope my fellow Indians respect the art of this structure and not spoil it by throwing garbage.
