A Rare Glimpse of Aurora Borealis

In the north of Norway Aurora Borealis is quite common, but not further south where I live. Sometimes we can see a little, but we had a few days in 2017 where we could see it pretty well.

Nice shot @Dieterschneider
It is rare here in the east part of Norway also. But I think I will make a trip up north just to get some pictures of it.
Thinking to spend a couple of days in Tromsø during March.

Thanks. My dad is from Sulitjelma (close to Fauske and Bodø) but I have not been there since 2001. I acutally remember some nights with good northern lights, but it was before I started with photography. Never been in Tromsø though, but bet it's a nice city :)

Amazing photograph! Can't imagine seeing that in person.

Thanks. It sure is beautiful.

The northern lights. I must see one of these before I die. Thanks for bringing me closer to my dream with this lovely image.

Thanks, yes I can highly recommend it :)

Wonderful and really speechless after watching it, it's reflecting as an sky is consisting of three layered colours with artistic dots means the Stars. And addon effect of this picture is that tree which is just reflecting as an dark shadow. Thanks for sharing. 🙂
