Yangkhullen village has lower literacy rate compared to Manipur. In 2011, literacy rate of Yangkhullen village was 29.45 % compared to 76.94 % of Manipur. In Yangkhullen Male literacy stands at 32.28 % while female literacy rate was 26.16 %.
As per constitution of India and Panchyati Raaj Act, Yangkhullen village is administrated by Sarpanch (Head of Village) who is elected representative of village.

but u should know Yangkhullen is part of Manipur too :) its one of the unique village in Manipur :)
