New 35mm Prime Lens Test

So at last I gave in and bought one of my dream lenses, the Canon 35mm 1.4L Prime Lens. The only way to see what this baby could do, was to go out and shoot some pictures. I went to one of my favorite places and tried to capture the sunset. I love the New York Skyline and it helps since I stare at this view everyday. I at times can't imagine living somewhere else. Below are a few images of the sun setting over the Hudson and me trying to capture the golden hour.
