The Aggression of Urbanization
Bangladeshi Buddhists monks and people believe in Theravada approach, where monks chose solitary meditation for achieving nirvana. Monks prefer to live in deep forest or in cave for better meditation, they only come to village for begging food to eat or deliver religious advise to the people who invite them. Monks who follow Theravada approach are not allowed to enter any family house without invitation, they prefer solitary lives or in temple with another monks. But in case of urbanization the existence of deep forest are decreasing. As a result Buddhist monks changed their lifestyle to accept the urbanization.
The aggression of urbanization changed peoples’ lifestyle and also monks had to change their too. religious views and facts are changing through urbanization which forcing monks directly or indirectly change their view, thought and even life style.
