The natural beauty of Aceh is so extraordinary. In the province nicknamed Serambi Mekkah, there are many paradise world with different charms and characteristics.Aceh also offers several tourist attractions for travelers who are adventurous and like challenges, one of which is Mount Burni Telong.
Geographically, the location of Mount Burni Telong is located in Bener Meriah Regency, Aceh Province. The distance between the foot of the mountain from Simpang Tiga Redelong approximately approximately 16 kilometers that can be reached by traveling for 30 minutes. This point is located in Bandar Lampahan, Rembune Village which is a favorite start climbing on the mountain.

Having a height of more than 2,600 meters above sea level, Mount Burni Telong is included in the top 10 highest mountains located in Aceh Province.
There are several routes that can be selected by tourists, the first route through Bandar Lampahan and Pante Raya route. But the climbers prefer to use the Bandar Lampahan route because the distance is much closer than the Pante Raya route.

Mount Burni Telong is a favorite destination for nature lovers as well as tourists who like hiking. This tourist attraction has a charming natural beauty in the form of expanse of plantations, wilderness and Edelweis flower charms and Genus Nepenthes (Tropical pitcher plant) known as one kind of rare flowers.

For approximately 6 hours of climbing through the wilderness, tourists will arrive at the place where the Edelweis Flower thrives. At this point, the altitude reaches 2,000 meters above sea level so the cold starts to pierce the bone. This perennial flowering as if eliminating the fatigue of the climbers after passing through the lush forest Burni Telong Mountain.

Flowers Edelweis and Genus Nepenthes (Tropical pitcher plant) is a type of plant that only grows in the highlands. Climbers are forbidden to pick beautiful flowers inhabitants of Mount Burni Telong, because this flower is considered a rare plant.
