These past few days, I've been engaging myself in certain activities. I also tried to bring back old passion and hobbies. I also started things that I plan to finish.

Starting Lines

First off, I'm starting to learn Python. Hmm.

What? A graduate of arts with little knowledge on the programming world is learning how to code in Python?

Well, what I noticed with myself is that I always tend to start things but I don't finish them. I enrolled in Harvard's edX online class of basic computer science - maybe watched the first two videos. So now, as I found myself fascinated with machine learning, I once read that I should start learning Python.

And I did... start. 😂 I'm utilizing codecademy. It's a great platform for people who doesn't or has little knowledge of Python. Currently, I'm still at 4%. I'm currently learning how to create a calculator with Python. As for the html course, I didn't know why it restarted to 0%, perhaps I'm using other account. 😂

The reason why I'm suddenly fascinated with it is after I was tasked to write an article about Improving Network Monitoring through Machine Learning based on the research of my boss and his classmates in graduate school in University of the Philippines Diliman.

Essentially, they're research found an efficient way to generate pattern results through AS2Vec. They finished their research through the help (free HPC service) of the Department of Science and Technology - Advanced Science and Technology Institute's High-Performance Computing Facility, where the @coarebabes work 😊.

Recently, I started to read manga again after so long.

My latest favorite is Nanoka no Kare. It makes me giddy and hurt because of the scenes in this shoujo/slice of life
manga.

I also got copies of the anime series Himouto! Umaru-chan & Gekkan Shōjo Nozaki- kun.
