At that age the imagination is so strong that a kid can literally see in x-ray vision. It might not be real, but it sure feels real when you're that age. :) I used to have a magic portal that went under my bed when I was very young. It was the doorway to all sorts of adventures! The visualizations I got were so strong. I miss those days.
