A stroll through the rice fields.
I arrived in a village lush with green. The majority of the town nestled between two hills, a river flowing through the center. My first impression was that it was spectacular. It was like looking into the past.
First Impressions From the Front
After a bit of a hike up this village, coming around an open bend that showed the lay of the land below was spectacular. It's an incredible feeling to walk amongst the architecture consisting of many wooden buildings built in traditional ways, but to see this lush Valley lying below allowed one to do nothing more than pause and stare for a while before remembering that you have other things to do... Like take photos.
