It’s funny how connected and accessible everything/everyone is in the age of the internet. I got ahold of a few C list celebrities in the past few years, all through social media.
Yeah, I used to have to work for this type of stuff. Go to NYC, read who is where (Time-Out NY) and stand at stage doors stalking.
Now I don't know if you are a baseball fan, but when Derek Jeter was in town for a couple rehab games, me and an autograph collector went up to The Hilton in Scranton. My wife was like "Why are you wasting your time". We get there, the other guy is using Twitter and basically saying everything he is doing, by people posting. Within 10 minutes, he was leaving a restaurant in Pittston, a few minutes later, here he is driving up to the hotel. It was great calling the wife in a half hour telling her I'm done.
