Choosing the proper frame in photography - some helpful tips!#4

in #photography6 years ago (edited)

...I warmly welcome you in the fourth part of the series about photography. I invite all new ones to start reading this blog from the first post.

Let's get started!

                                        GOLDEN RATIO

Yes yes, it is the same golden ratio that architects and painters use, even mathematicians! The golden division consists in dividing the segment into two parts, so that the ratio of the length of the longer part to the shorter part is the same as the entire section to the longer part. (like on the picture)

This principle consists in dividing our image from left to right, from right to left and up-down, down-up. This creates a mesh that has 4 intersection points. They are like strong points in the previous principle. The whole principle is based, just like the previous one, on the placement of objects on which we depend precisely on those strong points or lines forming the grid.

An interesting fact is that the golden ratio is used in most technical projects, such as postcards, posters, photos, etc.

Look for the golden divide in nature! You may find that you can find it there!

This is not the end, I also invite you to the next parts of this series ...
