A small town situated in the Himalayas, 30 kilometres drive from Haridwar is a weekend getaway from New Delhi. It takes around 6 hours to drive and the train journey may just take an hour less. It is the world Yoga capital and also the favourite place for adventure enthusiast.

People can do hiking, trekking, river rafting, kayaking, bungee jumping, zip line and even lots more. Recently there was the Ganga International Kayak Festival hosted in Uttarakhand which started from Devprayag and ended at Rishikesh. Kayak enthusiast from around the world visited and showed their skills.
