BOOMTOWN MUSIC FESTIVAL 2017 With Fellow STEEMIANS!! (Part 3) – Hidden Gems of the festival.

Boomtown is so special not only because of the amazing line up and main stages but also the hidden gems that are all around you waiting to be discovered. Every year, whenever the festival is over the vast crew get to work designing and building props and stages for the following year. The ticket money all goes back into making the next Boomtown more jaw dropping than the last.

In the posts I’ll be showing you the amazing attention to detail Boomtown has to offer.

As I mentioned in my first Boomtown post The festival is split up into different Burroughs, each with their own main stage, smaller stages, storylines and hidden artwork, actors that engage with you and festival goers who’ve created their own alter ego.

The Bad Apple Bar (This had a large cider bar and a small accoustic stage.

The Boomtown Bobbies (Fake police station with DJ set up inside) Every so often actors dressed as police would run around pretending to arrest people for trying to bring down the Evil Bang Hai Corporation that had control of the city and controlled the Boomtown police force.

The Job Centre. In Boomtown art immitates life. This year they put in the job centre. Inside there is another DJ set up.

This is an hilarious poster outside The Job Centre rave tent.

Here is a paper boy giving out free papers everyday at the festival. Each day was a different one. The Media is also controlled by Bang Hai Corporation

Here is a plaque we found dedicated to Nicolas Boom, the founder of Boomtown

These pics only cover a small part of what The Town Centre has to off. Next post I shall focus on another part of Boomtown.
