Solda All’Ortles – Holidays in 2014
Today, i want to share with you another Italian beautiful place, where i was in 2014 during my August holidays, with my girlfriend.
Solda All’Ortles, is a nice mountain village on the Alto Adige, Bozen province Alps, is located at 1900 meters above the sea and is surrounded by incredible mountains, the mountain massive group of the Ortles with his 3900 meters on high, watch the village from above.
Also if it was August, in the village, covered by pine needles, branches and pine cones , we still found some snow.
A roof real curious, is made by grass…
A beautiful butterfly, we found during one of the excursions we made on the surrounding paths.
Those are Yaks, Tibetan bovids, taken by Reinold Messner, and acclimated there.
And this is me, during an excursion.
This is Artic cotton, we found while we were going to visit a glacier called “the big angel” at 3000 meters, you can see from the next photo, that it remembers an angel wing.
And to finish this short tour, a nice mountain house located in the village.
15 days of full nature immersion, great walks on the mountains, fresh air and energy regenerating the body and the soul.

Ha ! didn't know that is a traditional roof in Scandinavia... thanks for the info... Nordic lands, are still unknown for me, i have to organize a travel there... I wish to see aurorae live one day....
Yeah...I want to see the Northern Lights too at some point. Probably in the north part of Norway or from Iceland....not sure where from just yet but there are other options too. You should definitely visit the north if you get the chance.
