Photo of the Day #5
Goldenrod Crab spider
Part of the Misumena vatia spider family
Goldenrod crab spiders are typically found on yellow or white flowers like goldenrod (hence the name) or daisies.
They are able to change their body color from white to yellow to blend in with the type of flower they are on.
Super Cool Spider!!

That's a cool lil spider. I'm going to start trying to take some macro shots :)
Wow those are some great shots. I'd never heard of the goldenrod crab spider before. It really does match the color of the flower quite spectacularly. Followed and looking forward to seeing what else you post.
Thanks Mtross, I just checked out your website, love your artwork!! Following back <3

Good photo👍
These spiders are truly amazing . Even though I can't be in the same room as one! XD. But they really are interesting creatures, especially theses creatures because they can change the color of their skin and blend in. Kinda like some lizard's. Thanks for posting!!
Truly beautiful! @cainplant
