Can you imagine how sensitive animal’s senses are when compared to ours? This female lion sniffed every single leaf where another lion had previously marked his or her territory. I think she was really enjoying the sensory experience! I too enjoyed sitting quietly out of sight and watching the politics of big cats as they postured and challenged each other for the best napping site. An amazing day with wildlife in the beautiful Maasai Mara Reserve.

that why when earthquake hits, i calmly sleep knowing that my cat is sleeping too beside me
