Have you ever wondered how birds can fly so perfectly together in a V formation?
Well they position themselves in a V and each bird flies slightly above the one in front of them.
They also flap their wings in unison and this helps them catch the other birds updraft and saves them energy during flight allowing them to fly for long distances.
They also take turns being in the front, falling to the back when they tire.
I find this very interesting and hopefully if you didn’t know next time you see a flock of birds flying in a V just think they are working together to complete a journey.
