Cricket is a process of breeding crickets (Gryllus Sp.) In large quantities for the purpose of pet food business such as birds, fish, and reptiles. Civet cattle can also be done on a small scale, usually as a hobby or made an animal complaint.

Cultivating crickets should know the environment favored by crickets, where the maintenance location should be calm, quiet and shady and get a good air circulation for the temperature adjustment of the room. Avoid crowded and noisy such as markets, highways, and more.

Crickets themselves are herbivorous animals, where they feed on young leaves such as grasses and for farming environments can be fed green vegetables that contain lots of water such as mustard greens, spinach, lettuce, cucumber and papaya leaves.

The environment away from human activities such as passers-by is very popular with crickets, the room should not be exposed to direct sunlight but away from the trees in order to absorb the sun's heat freely. Another requirement is that the livestock environment must be far from the chicken coop or other animals that can prey on crickets such as ants, lizards, geckos and rats.
