uca minax is common in the western Atlantic from Massachusetts to Northeast Florida and then from Northwest Florida to Louisiana; it is occasionally found in parts of Texas.

This little guy was found in a SC Salt Marsh.

My mom told me they had a big claw because they played the fiddle under the sea. My dad told me a while later, it is because they jack off a lot.😲

Haha. It looks like the crab plays the fiddle while it eats (big claw is the fiddle and little claw the bow).

We have them in Maryland too, but I think it is a slightly different species. Nobody notices them because we have the tasty delicacy of Maryland Blue Crabs.

Maryland Blue Crabs with jumbo shrimp and old bay... Oh man. Don't get me started. Haven't been up there in years.

Wow.... what a lovely shot.. It's great captured.
Great to see
