What a place ...the must see 1000 red gates at the Fushimi Inari Shrine in Kyoto, Japan. Here a few tourists dress up and pose for me in a glorious shot. We didnt do all the gates...but at least 900 of em. What a sweat my family worked.Enjoy.

To be honest, I have no idea what these ladies are wearing in the way of local threads. But I do know that there is an entire industry around the hire of these geisha outfits. One can go for the basic look or go the full hog with expensive outfits, hairdos and makeup. Salons everywhere offering these services in Kyoto. Many, many taking them up on it before hitting the temples and local attractions.
