[Section: Places of Venezuela: Post # 1] Plaza Venezuela, Caracas, Venezuela🇻🇪🇻🇪🗺

in #photography7 years ago

Hello everyone and hello to you who read this, friends today I bring you one of the part where all the Caraqueños we have met more than once, despite the insecurity this at night is a site of meetings and friendly talks .

For those of us who are Caraqueños, it is a symbol of lights and colors.

Plaza Venezuela is located in the center of the city of Caracas, in the Parroquia El Recreo, being a pedestrian promenade where you can visit several important monuments.

For example, one of the monuments you can find is Christopher Columbus, which dates back to the 19th century, the work of Manuel de la Cova and which has suffered serious damage. There is also a beautiful fountain that at night has a magnificent lighting (which appears in the image), in addition to the Abra Solar sculpture by the artist Alejandro Otero, the Fisiocromía homage to Andrés Bello by Carlos Cruz-Díez who In turn, it serves as a framework for the statue of Andrés Bello.

The Plaza is surrounded by highways and skyscrapers that house a large number of offices, but also allows access to sites such as the University City and the Botanical Garden of the city. Also from there you can access the famous Twin Towers of Central Park (the towers that are displayed in the image) and the Cultural Center of Fine Arts, as well as the Boulevard de Sabana Grande.

This square was inaugurated in 1940 and can be reached by the Metro de Caracas in the station of the same name, as well as by vans by post.

In front of this they locate buildings of emblematic offices, which have luminous warnings. They are to know:

Polar I
Polar II
Phelps Tower (tower located on the right side of the photo)
SENIAT Tower (old Torre Capriles)
Tower La Previsora

Personally, I do not recommend you visit it, since insecurity is strong, if you are a foreigner, for a Venezuelan it is normal but you should not live with that, if you liked this post and you want to know this area personally or any Venezuelan zone I advise you to wait for everything to settle down a bit.

Do not be afraid to visit because you do not know the place, if you are not afraid of not knowing what wonders you can find and you are losing them.
