How to Install and Unload the Complete Transmission - The transmission system is a system used for the conversion of torque and speed (speed) of the engine into torque and different speeds to be forwarded to the final drive. This conversion changes the high rotation speed to be lower but more powerful, or vice versa.

Once you understand about the transmission system, let's move on to the next section which is unloading and installing the transmission.

How to Unload and Install Transmission

Tools and equipment needed are:

Transmission Jack

Transmission Dismantling Stage
a) Release the negative battery terminals, this is to maintain the possibility of short circuit while working.
b) Lift the car using the jack and install a high lift jackstand to provide free space for workers as well as the process of unloading and installing the transmission.
c) Remove the rubber stick cover / lever / transmission transfer handles. See figure 16 below. By removing the bolt.

d) Remove the transmission shifting handle by removing the bolt and lifting it out. See the following picture.

e) Remove the starter motor, ie disconnect the cords and bolts tie.
f) Remove the transmission lubricating oil, by opening the tap bolt, and preparing the lube oil reservoir. When finished, put the tap bolt back and remove the lubricating oil container, not to spill. If it spills first.
g) Unplug the propeller head, so that the installation is not wrong before marking it off. As shown in the picture.
h) Disconnect the speedometer cable and reverse lamp cable from the terminal.

j) Remove grips and exhaust clamps associated with the transmission.

l) Remove the transmission mounting.
m) Loosen transmission home fastener bolts. Note whether the transmission remains flat or not, if it is tilted like image 20, then raise the jack.

f) Install bolts and mounting the transmission. Refresh according to the hardening moment in the manual.

g) Replace the starter motor along with the cable.

h) Install the propeller shaft according to the mark made.

i) Install the speedometer cable and retract cable and exhaust clamp.

j) Contents of transmission lubricating oil.

k) Attach the clutch cable and stel height and clutch pedal freedom.
Pedal height = 150.8 mm, and freedom = 20-35 mm.

l) Install the transmission shift handle along with the rubber cover.

m) Lower the vehicle from the jack stand.

n) Turn on the car, try clutch adjustment and transmission work.

o) Clean the equipment and equipment used.
