The Valley Drive-In Theatre at Lompoc, California
Popular during the 60's and 70's, the drive-in theatre has unfortunately for the most part gone the way of the Dodo. This one outside Lompoc in California has been closed for a long time. There were plans to restore and re-open it, which I think would be great, but it never happened. The site is currently serving as a drive-in recycling centre.

I thought it made a great pic with the shiny new Camaro against the faded backdrop. The 1960's Camaro is exactly the car you would have seen here during the days when this was open. Let's hope they do finish it one day!
