📷 Some Photos from our last trip to the Netherlands ENG/GER 📷

A few weeks ago we were again allowed to take a short break in Holland. We visited Den Helder and met this giant.
Apparently oil platforms from the North Sea are maintained in Den Helder. Via the Heli Port in Den Helder the oil rigs are supplied with workers. We did not manage a visit there this year, but we will make up for it.
The size of the oil rig is not so clear on the photo, it overlooks the whole city and can still be seen far away, for example from the beach in Julianadorp.

Vor ein paar Wochen durften wir mal wieder Kurzurlaub in Holland machen. Dabei haben wir Den Helder besucht und sind auf diesen Riesen gestoßen.
Anscheinend werden Bohrinseln aus der Nordsee in Den Helder gewartet. Über den Heli Port in Den Helder werden die Bohrinseln mit Arbeitern versorgt. Einen Besuch dort haben wir in diesem Jahr nicht geschafft, wird aber nachgeholt.
Die Größe der Bohrinsel wird auf dem Foto gar nicht so deutlich, sie überragt die ganze Stadt und ist noch weit, zum Beispiel auch vom Strand in Julianadorp, zu sehen.

The last two pictures were more about technology, but you can't go to the North Sea without taking beach pictures. So here are some views from the North Sea beach.

Bei den letzten beiden Bildern ging es ja mehr um Technik, aber man kann ja nicht an die Nordsee fahren, ohne Strandbilder zu machen. Hier also ein paar Ausblicke vom Nordseestrand.

Somehow I like this staircase. Behind it lies the sea and you can look directly to the island of Texel. Unfortunately the girls up there didn't really want to leave. Disturbs me a little with the picture, but wanted to share it with you anyway.

Irgendwie gefällt mir diese Treppe. Dahinter liegt das Meer und man kann direkt zur Insel Texel blicken. Leider wollten die Mädels da oben nicht wirklich weggehen. Stört mich bei dem Bild ein wenig, wollte es aber trotzdem mit euch teilen.

Finally a picture from the dunes on the way to the beach of Julianadorp. I first tried to see if it looks better in black and white, but I have to say that I like this variation more. It fits somehow well to the farewell of Holland for this year. The next time we will probably go sometime in spring. Let's have a look...

Zum Abschluss noch ein Bild aus den Dünen auf dem Weg zum Strand von Julianadorp. Ich habe erst probiert, ob es in Schwarzweiß besser aussieht, muss aber sagen, dass mir diese Variante mehr zusagt. Es passt irgendwie gut zum Abschied von Holland für diese Jahr. Das nächste Mal werden wir wahrscheinlich irgendwann im Frühjahr hinfahren. Mal schauen wann es klappt...
