Baffin Island

As the blizzard cleared in Sam Ford Fjord on Baffin Island, an Inuit named Jason appeared with his dog sled and rode into our base camp. He shared his local knowledge with us and taught us things like how to build a proper igloo. It was a perfect way to spend time as more blizzards came through in the following days. It’s always the unexpected moments that resonate with us the longest.
