Surfinia
Surfinia - a group of petunia varieties. This name is used to describe numerous varieties of petunias with overhanging shoots. The first varieties of surfinia were bred by the Japanese using genetic engineering techniques. In Europe, surfinia appeared only in the late 1990s. It is throughout Europe and commonly grown as an ornamental plant.
Symbolis
The Mayan and Incas believed that petunias have the power to chase away (with their odor) the underworld monsters and spirits. Their flower-beds were bunched together for magical drinks. According to the folklore, Petunias will thrive where there is positive energy and will not grow in places where there is negativity.
