Whale Connected - Sunset in Booderee National Park

A reverse of yesterdays sunset here on the South Coast! How beautiful is that water!
This pano has taken me most of today to stitch together it was suuuuch a bitch! But my fault for rushing around tryin to capture several compositions and not taking the time to set my panorama up perfect BUT still I persevered and got it all together.
After all of the sunset madness was over I walked around the headland to be greeted by a massive pod of whales cruising by making a bunch of noise which was so beautiful to watch and hear... I stopped and was so overwhelmed by a feeling of connection with them and just nature in general, I felt like they waited for me to be finished running round like a headless chook to show up and say hi again, again because I also got to surf with a pod of whales the day before at the same place. SO grateful for that opportunity and to have them show up again after such an amazing sunset!
This is why I love photography and just being out amongst nature, you never know what might come your way and I'm still feeling the stoke from these last couple of days. YEW!

That's an amazing sunset view and you have captured it kind of perfect. I love this photo @benfenson.
I have never seen whales before, so I cannot even imagine your feelings, but I know, that my reasons to photograph are the same as yours :)
