Massive waves crash into Bowen Island, Australia.
Massive swell battering Bowen Island at the mouth to Jervis Bay a month or so back now.
I stood at this spot for a couple of hours photographing the changing conditions, as squall lines moved past occasionally pouring down rain on me, watching massive sets of waves role through the channel between Bowen Island and the headland I was on. One of the sets were the biggest waves I have ever seen, easily 30-40ft faces and they made a tremendous noise as they crashed.
