My first attempt at processing Hubble’s data, NGC 3627.
This is NGC 3627, a strong gravitational interaction from its past encounter with neighboring NGC 3628 has resulted in this extremely long spiral arm.
This image is a 3 channel false color composite, where blue indicates emission at 336 & 438nm, green at 555nm, and red at 814nm.
