Frozen Piran, Slovenia

Winter has arrived on the Slovenian coast. In my 6 years of living here, the temperatures never got bellow 10 degrees Celsius, not even at night. But this year, meh, -5 throughout the day. And the wind makes it even worse. I'm unable to ride my bicycle, it's THAT windy(and I've done my fair share of cycling). It also feels more like -25 than -5 when you're out on the open.

I've never seen ice on the coast. You're not even required to have winter tires installed on your vehicle during the winter months here. But things are changing I guess. The environment is literally freezing.

They say it might even snow in the next few days. The last time it did(as I've been told), it was like a natural disaster. People didn't go to work, the schools were closed, buses weren't driving and the bars never opened. We'll, that'd be interesting.

But we'll make it through, like we always do, no matter the weather. After all, it would be dull if the weather would be the same whole year round.

...lol...amateur :D

hahaha, it's called dramatization :)

I feel you, it's -15 in Finland and a freezing wind here also. I'm still crazy enough to bicycle but my face gets kinda cold when the wind blows so that's a minor inconvenience. The whole Europe is getting a cold kiss from Siberia when even Rome is covered with snow.
