A peculiar cactus flower
I recently noticed this flower blooming on a small cactus which is not particularly odd, but what is strange is the way it bloomed. Normally they just bloom directly off the cactus from a small bud and will last for a short time. This one was a bit different because it formed from a large arm that shot out from this tiny cactus.
Here you can see the arm that shot off the cactus that produced a giant flower in comparison to the size of the cactus.

Yes, it was only around for a short time
First time i have seen cactus that blooms flower.
Very common for them to have flowers, but this one was a bit strange in the way it produced the flower.
It is beautiful. The flower blooms wel. Its nice that you have appreciation with the flowers.
