The first draft of Volkswagen Transporter came out 70 years ago and it has written history. Sometimes it was a protest vehicle, sometimes a holiday car and sometimes a wheel house. The Volkswagen minibus has become a 'cult' tool today.

First generation - started in 1950

The feature that distinguished the first generation VW Transporter from the others was the split-front glass. It is hard to believe that 80 percent of the parts came from the Beetle production line. Even the engine (at 24.5 horsepower!) Was borrowed from the famous' folk car 'VW' turtle.

What a great detail!

This well-kept model has roof windows, a folding sunroof and a row of side windows. Drivers need to be careful to be able to enjoy all the features of this vehicle, which is like a moving design museum.

Toy cars for adults

Today, many people who have had or have not had one of these in their time have been experiencing memories as a symbol that evoke different emotions. It is a common occurrence to see a miniature example on a shelf or table of today's adults.

For almost anything

The police took part in the vehicle fleet, used as a Red Cross vehicle, even craftsmen and even a fire truck. There is no other type of vehicle that has been modified to meet the needs of a VW minibus. There are a few vehicles in the original condition left in the factory.

The second generation became the victim of new laws

In 2013, the destiny of the VW minibus was drawn in Brazil. He was highly acclaimed in the last country he produced. Mostly repairs were done in a simple way. However, with new laws dating back to 2014, you became a victim of your technical insufficiency. Because without ABS and air cushion, traffic would not be able to get out. So the production of my legendary minibus in Brazil stopped.
