A possible relic left behind before the Yupik people? I think so, the other 2 crew members did not agree
Even knowing Walrus Island was once inhabited by man 5,000 - 6,000 years ago, followed by a different group now known as the Yupic, 2,500 years ago.
Hi Guys
^ As a past student of geography, I always take a few moments along the way to respect the local land formation. I try to connect the natural formations like a puzzle. This was a unique 'quartz knuckle,' with ice still intact. Does anyone know what the purple rock is? Looks and feels like basalt. > ?
Here is a quick snapshot from March 2017 of the power hub. We built and shipped this puppy via helicopter...... More to come.

Wow! Great stuff! The foxes seemed very curious haha, you got some great pictures of them! That's amazing that such a small island could have such a deep past, I wonder if those were some arrowheads?! And that purple rock is certainly a mystery to me! Thanks for sharing this awesome post, can't wait for your next installment! 👍
Appreciate it @timitwist
